Joshua Mack has over 20 years of experience working with publishers, not-for-profits, authors, and marketers. He has created innovative programs ranging from: the first websites for Esquire, CosmoGirl!, and other Hearst publications; early e-book initiatives at the pioneering digital publisher Voyager; an award-winning audio tour project for the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation; networks and tools for the distribution of content; an online presence for Workman Publishing’s Page-A-Day Calendar; GardenVoices, the first curated aggregation blog at a major media company and Garden Clippings an innovative social bookmarking and sharing tool. He has built award-winning sites and online strategies for authors Ron Suskind, David Wessel, Alice Feiring, and Melissa Clark. He has worked with marketers throughout his career, leading marketing programs ranging from a national photo-driven project for Coke’s Vitamin Water, exclusive mini-sites for Avon and Morrow Publishing, and an awareness project for Riverkeeper. Work with not-for profits includes developing the digital strategy for BRIC/Arts Community Media and producing an early CD-ROM for the American Museum of Natural History. Recently he has worked with multiple local publishers on tools, strategy, and sales.
